Nokia Lumia 625 Released:

The Nokia Lumia 625 has finally been announced by Nokia, and the specs and features list have also been released.

Nokia on Tuesday unveiled its biggest Lumia series Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 625.

Lumia 625 is 4G and has a 4.7 inch screen, the largest so far from Nokia, making it a competitor to the big-screened Android phones such as HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4. Under this 4.7 inch screen there is a 2,000mAh battery, 512 MB RAM and a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. There is 8GB memory for movies, music, apps and photos and users can even add a 64GB micro SD memory card.

Like other Lumia smartphones, this device too is made up of sturdy plastic not making it feel cheap or flimsy. Its back is same as that of Lumia 720 and its screen is curved at the edges like the Lumia 920. The device has a super sensitive touch screen, which means it can work with fingernails and gloves. Its weight is 159g and it measures 133.3 x 72.3 x 9.3mm. Although the device boasts the biggest screen so far, yet its display is not as bright and sharp as in Lumia 620.

The Lumia 625 keeps ticking along because of the Windows Phone 8 software. The live tiles (large colored squares) on home screen shows shortcuts to the different apps. They light up when there is any notification. The phone is loaded with Lumia Amber Update, which means it shares a variety of Amber features with the new Lumia 1020, including Nokia Cinemagraph and Nokia Smart Camera app. Its camera is of 5-megapixel and has LED flash. It can shoot 1080p video at 30fps.

This smartphone will be shortly available in 6 bright colored shells—green, yellow, white, red, black and orange. The Nokia Lumia 625 will be available for sale in 3rd quarter of 2013. It is set to be offered at 220 euros in Europe, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Latin America, Africa and China. However, in the UK alone, it will cost a very affordable 200 Pound Sterling, wherein the price would depend on the operator you opt with. You can choose to buy this Nokia Lumia 625 from shops like O2, 4G network EE, Carphone Warehouse or Phones 4U. This smartphone is for people who have big pockets and small budgets.
