Veho 360 M4 Bluetooth Speaker Review:
The team at MobileFun have sent us another product, this time a Veho 360 M4 Surround Sound Portable speaker, I’ve spent a couple of days testing this little speaker in a few different areas and situations, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised ! We’ll go into details such as looks, feel, strength and of course sound quality.
Veho 360 M4 Bluetooth Speaker Looks:
This was the first thing that I noticed when I first un-boxed the Veho 360 M4, its stunning. Everything about it is just great, I love the silver and black contrasts between the two materials. It is a rather small circle, with black mesh around it, a black plastic top and a silver surrounding bezel. When switched on, its even prettier, the blue LED’s which light up the various functions such as Volume and Power just add to the overall look of the Veho 360. I’d also go as far as saying its the nicest Veho product they make, and definitely the nicest little surround sound speaker I’ve seen yet. You also get a little carry case with the Veho 360, however this is a little irritating, as I personally thing its a tad too small for the Veho 360. When trying to put it into the carry bag, you often turn it on in the process, so this could cause unwanted battery loss if un-noticed. Also, you can’t fit any of the wires with the speaker in the carry case, unless you leave it partially opened, which is honestly the only negative point I can find about the Veho 360 M4. It also looks smaller in real life than it does in pictures. I’d say its a similar size to a tennis ball, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing!
Veho 360 M4 Bluetooth Speaker Sound:
Wow, is the first thing I’ll say about the sound. This device is like a bull in a cats body, the sound it produces is second to non. I’ve used this in various situations, and it never fails to impress. I’ve taken it on a BBQ and its loud enough to be used as a background speaker whilst having a party etc. I’ve also taken it into some fields whilst sun-bathing and again it was very surprising just how loud, yet clear this speaker is. The voice, highs and lows are all outstanding for a device this small. One thing that is misleading, and I was surprised at was the way in which it produces the “surround sound”. When looking in pictures, I thought it was a single, circular speaker. This isn’t the case, and theirs two separate speakers either side of the Veho 360, which produces the surround sound effect. I’d say this device can easily hold its own against similar “Docks” and “Speakers” which are priced much higher than the Veho 360, you’ll be as surprised as I was when you first hear how loud this can go!
Veho 360 M4 Bluetooth Speaker Strength/Sturdiness:
Again, I was very surprised just how well made this speaker is, its very sturdy and you can feel the build quality when you pick it up. It’s sort of like an Macbook quality build (as much as I hate to say it), you just feel it and can tell that only the best materials are used. However it is very light for what it is, which sort of makes you wonder whats in it. I was expecting it to be a little heavier than it is, but again this is not a bad point as it makes it much easier (along with the size) to carry it around, it is a portable speaker after all! This speaker is very well built, and very strong indeed. There’s no creaking or movement in the device, which further gives you a sense of superior build quality.
Veho 360 M4 Bluetooth Speaker Features:
The Veho 360 M4 has everything covered here, and theirs nothing that they’ve missed. Every single device thinkable is supported, from Android smartphones, iPads, iPhones etc are compatible. Also, the different ways in which you can listen to your music is brilliant, you have a choice of either, using an Aux cable from your device to the speaker (Veho supply this within the box) or connecting the two devices using the Bluetooth feature. There’s a little switch at the bottom of the Veho 360 which enables you to choose either “Bluetooth” or “Line-in / SD”. Even if you don’t want to use both Bluetooth, nor an Aux cable or don’t have a device to play from, you can simply insert and SD card directly into the Veho 360, and it will play straight from that. So no matter who you are and what equipment you own, the Veho 360 has your music covered![Thanks to MobileFun]
