Here comes something really useful photographers. Whether you are a professional or not, this new device is what you’ll desire for. The “Spinpod” is a new project from Kickstarter which is designed to take better panoramic pictures and to record dynamic motion time-lapse videos. This device is small in size and with its durability it is possible to take Spinpod anywhere like hiking, camping, parties and holidays.

Spinpod features

Meet Spinpod Video;

It is a circular; diameter 3.75-inches and depth 0.7-inches. There’s a Dock of 2.5 x 0.5-inches for fitting of iPhone 4S, 5 and most of the Android phones on the market. An adapter is also included for cameras and another for landscape mounts.

Spinpod specs

Panoramic Photography: To take panoramic pictures, first fit your device in the dock. The Spinpod will start rotating continuously in a perfect speed while the device taking the panoramic picture. The continuous Panoramic Photography is a built-in function in most of the devices. Otherwise, there are a lot of apps in the Apple Store and Google Play market which make your device capable of taking panoramic pictures.

There’s also a Countdown Timer function, which allows you to take self-panoramas. Just like in other devices, the Spinpod Countdown Timer also blinks and beeps to indicate you that when the camera will start taking the panorama.

Time –lapse Videos: To record Time-lapse videos, the Spinpod rotates in small little steps. Users can set the time interval between the steps. So by capturing the video frames at such a slow rate, your device will be able to generate the motion time-lapse video.

You can also generate engaging pan + tilt videos by using two Spinpods with an L-bracket. The Spinpod can also be used as a Sound Amplifying dock just by placing your phone in the dock of Spinpod which is little wider. Your phone will angle upward (as shown in the image below) which is a great position for a phone for a Video Chat too.
