Android 4.3 Next-Gen Update; Spotted on LG Device

Android 4.3; Spotted on LG Optimus L7:

The next generation update of the Android Operating System, “Android 4.3 Jelly Bean” has been causing some news and speculation recently. On May 25th we saw some pictures of white Nexus 4 running on Android 4.3, which were taken by two XDA Developers Forum members at a Thailand Mobile expo 2013.

Just a couple of days ago, there was news by Android Authority  that an LG Product, the “LG Optimus L7 ll Dual” was showing the new build, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean as its operating system on the official website of LG.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is not officially announced yet, so it was quite a surprise to see it on spec sheet of the LG Optimus L7 ll Dual. The Optimus L7 ll Dual is the dual-SIM version of the Optimus L7 ll Smartphone which is a mid-range device.

Some people around the web were assuming it as a writing mistake and some were taking it as a statement (no mistake) by LG. The picture below shows the LG Optimus L7 ll Dual with operating system Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on list.

LG optimus L7 ll Dual Android 4.3UPDATE – We just visited the site again and we found that the Android 4.3 operating system has been changed to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (check the picture below). We also checked the full specification list of the product which is also showing Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as its operating system. So it’s now confirmed that it was really a writing mistake by LG.

LG optimus L7 ll Dual Android 4.1The Android 4.3 update has also shown up in various server logs. This update which was expected at the Google I/O, is now expected to be announced in June or July. So now all we can do is wait for Google to announce the Android 4.3 update officially. This mistake by LG claiming that their new device is running Android 4.3 has caused a lot of news, implying that again Android users are eagerly waiting for the next addition to their favorite operating system.

In my opinion, Android users are much more involved with their operating systems than Apple users, which is why Android users are so hot on when companies like LG make a mistake and list a device as Android 4.3
